regenerate travel
regenerate(verb):
to restore a place or system to a better, higher, or more worthy state
travel(noun):
the movement from place to place
with a Privilege to travel freely and a curiosity to explore, i moved from amsterdam to unguja, zanzibar, in 2015. little did i know that 5 months would turn into 10+ years.
working in hospitality made me realise quickly that the tourism industry has multiple faces, a paradox that I’m troubled by daily. and yet i strongly believe that travel is incredibly meaningful, where all players have a role of a learner – as long as we listen – and as a teacher – as long as we question ourselves.
